I had a great experience! I can't tell you how pleased I am with my results. Dr. Hobgood did a revision facelift surgery on the right side of my face (original surgery was done 2 years ago by Dr. Michael Lavigne). My face was shifted further back on one side and ears pixies on both sides. Dr. Hobgood was honest with me and wasnt sure if it was the right approach because just doing one side can be tricky especially when you didnt do the work originally and aren't sure what you'll encounter. Either way he new it would be an improvement. So he did the surgery after a very well explained consult... The results are awesome!!!, my face is finally symmetrical again! He also fixed the left side pixie ear for free! BONUS! I couldn't believe how well I look after only one week. No one can tell I had work done and thats a sign of his expertise! Wanted Nose Job Since 6th Grade, Wish I Would Have Done This Sooner! Dr. Hobgood and staff are amazing. I have been wanting a nose job since 6th grade. Dr. Hobgood was the 3rd doctor I had a consultation with and I immediately knew he was the perfect surgeon for me. He answered all of my questions in detail and made me feel extremely comfortable about having the procedure. For me the pros of having the surgery outweighed the risks so I went for it. I had a bump on my nose and the bottom of my nose drooped down and I have always been self conscious about it. The surgery recovery was surprisingly easy. I came how with a cast on my nose and wore it for 7 days. Sleeping was a little difficult because I wanted to keep my head elevated every night before the cast came off. It honestly feels like a sinus head cold when recovering, I suggest having your favorite chapstick on all the time so your lips don't dry out while mouth breathing. When the cast came off I was extremely pleased with the outcome! I was so nervous the whole time I had the cast on because you never know what your nose will look like but my nose was perfectly strait and the hump was gone. I love my new feminine nose and seriously if you have thought about having a nose job for a while I would put all your trust into Dr. Hobgood. He is truly a perfectionist and will enhance your beauty in the best way possible! So happy I went with Dr. Hobgood!!!
Fantastic All Around Rhinopasty and Deviated Septum Surgery!!! - Scottsdale, AZ I was referred to Dr Hobgood to fix a deviated septum that had been a major problem for more than 10 years. The entire experience exceeded my expectations from start to finish. My nose looks and feels great and the experience and recovery was way better than I ever anticipated. Great do and staff!
66 year old in need of face/neck lift revision Very well, still some swelling but looking sooooo much better ! Had a neck and facelift 14 years ago and with time and gravity catching up, I needed re-freshing - which is actually more challenging for the surgeon.
Best surgeon and person ever - Scottsdale, AZ I would give him ten more stars if I could. Not only is Dr. Hobgood a stellar surgeon, but he is an amazing human being. I considered rhinoplasty for about 15 years and finally got the guts to go into a consultation two months before my wedding. After meeting him, I didn't even want to talk to another surgeon. I trusted him immediately because I could see that he was a lot like me... a perfectionist. It was obvious that he knew exactly what he was doing - I didn't even say a word about why I hated my nose - he was able to point out every part of it that I didn't like, while telling me what he would do to change it. He radiates so much passion that it even made me excited about noses too! The morning of my surgery, I was super nervous. Dr. Hobgood came in smiling and told me that he looked at my file for a long time the night before and was thinking about my nose the whole drive to the surgery center. This was a pretty big surgery because of all the little quirks and complications my nose had to offer. When I got home post-op, I looked in the mirror and freaked out because it seemed really upturned. I called him and he reassured me that this was normal - it was called a "nose bra" and not to worry (I'm a worrier/control freak, but I decided to trust him and try to be patient). Everything ended up going down just as he said it would. He spent actual time talking to me like a good friend would do, and told me to call him any time if I needed anything. So cool. My wedding is now in 9 days and I couldn't be happier. I know that I will love my pictures and exude the confidence that I was meant to always have. I fall more in love with my new nose every day, and thank Dr. Hobgood every day, even though he can't hear me! Thank you, Dr. Hobgood, for being you. You have changed my life and I could never thank you enough. You are wonderful.

Consultation: Possible Juvederm Removal - Scottsdale, AZ Dr Hobgood is the most Amazing Dr!! I could not believe how comfortable I felt with him. It was as if my concerns were the most important thing. His explanations not to mention the time he took. It was as if he had all day!. I do wish he had been my injectable Dr. I am certain I would be in a much better place. He did explain how hyalruonidase works and that it is difficult to know another injectors technique , could still do it but he thought I should give it a bit more time and wait it out. I was so relieved after my visit with him. I will certainly choose him for all my future cosmetic needs. Just wish I had all this knowledge before I made the decision I did. What an amazing guy!! So, I have had quite an unusual experience over this past year plus. I originally posted about my side effects after Juvederm and how my original injecting Dr was of no help whatsoever. It could of been alot easier for me if he had been more professional. Actu ally taken an interest and cared. I sought out the good advice of Dr Hobgood. He came highly recommended from this site and he will always be a shining star. He helped me make a decision and let me know he was there for me whatever I decided to do. Listen up Docs, that is HUGE. Yes , he is real. Dr Hobgood , Scottsdale ,Az. I decided to ride it out, symptoms and all. Just knowing he was there reduced my symptoms in half. Amazing thing caring about people and what can happen. My symptoms did subside and at one point dissappeared entirely. Lite laser brought them on as did retina A and other skin care. I noticed anxiety also plays a role. I am currently having a repeat of symptoms and 1 year and 4 months later Juvederm is still there. Has not diminished much. I don't mind the blue Tindall lines and white streAK because that can be covered with makeup. Would I prefer to not have those? Yes, of course, but symptoms are far more bothersome. This is what I have learned: The mind plays a critical role. Dr Hobgood is a good Dr because he knows this. He knew exactly what I needed from him to help me cope. I did cope much better with his support. I also had the support of my family physician. She realized my anxiety and I was prescribed xanax. I also looked at inflamation and why some persons have this response and others dont. I changed my diet, I learned how to breathe properly, I meditated, kept myself busy and took my focus off how I felt and put it on others and my responsibilities. Will this work for everyone? Probably not but if someone can benefit from this in anyway then that is wonderful feeling. As I write this my face aches and my liplines tingle and buzz, 2 months ago they did not. Will they continue, maybe, maybe not. I don't know. I do know this, having a good qualified Dr for support by the name of Dr Hobgood and his right arm Annie ,and staff. If you live in Scottsdale Az, choose him. He is everything a Dr should be. I hope I can say in 6months, a year , I am over it all. I know there are people far worse than I that will never recover wether it is from injector error or inflamation, I do think for the money Juvederm makes they should have some support for those harmed. Also they should provide small samp l es so that one can have a test injection first. Really seems absurd the disregard for those affected.
Rhinoplasty Gave Me a New Found Confidence in Myself -Thanks Dr. Hobgood! - Scottsdale, AZ I can say first hand that the decision to undergo plastic surgery (rhinoplasty in my case) is not one to be taken lightly. I did extensive internet research prior to making my decision. Due to Dr. Hobgood's exceptional reviews and his expertise in facial plastic surgery made him my obvious first choice of potential doctors to perform my surgery. He ended up being the first and only doctor I met with. After meeting with him I knew there was no need to meet other surgeons. Dr. Hobgood is kind, sincere, and is genuinely passionate for what he does and for his patients. His staff is very professional and compassionate at all times. I do not live in Arizona but Dr. Hobgood and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate me as an out of state patient. In regards to the procedure itself, the bedside care was wonderful. In fact, Dr. Hobgood called me personally to check on me after my surgery. The healing process went smoothly and I was more comfortable than I anticipated because they did not "pack" my nose. Instead, they used a splint and removable drip pad. I could not be happier with the results and the experience overall. 20 Years Old OPEN RHINOPLASTY I had surgery on my enlarged turbinates, adenoids, my deviated septum, as well as cosmetic changes (a rhinoplasty). With recurring sinus infections and trouble breathing I decided to take the surgical route. I picked Dr. Hobgood based on his reviews. I had my surgery done on at the surgery center of gilbert and his staff were very nice and accommodating before the surgery and after the surgery when checking up on me. The outcome was exactly what I wanted and very natural. In fact it is almost identical to my brothers nose so most would never assume I've had a nose job because it looks like one I would have likely had genetically. My recovery time was very minimal, I think this was due to his level of care during surgery. I bruised the first 3 days then after that it was very light yellow circles under my eyes. Swelling was unnoticeable at 1wk post op. Pain was also very minimal, I did not take the prescribed pain medication past day 1 post op. I can honestly say I have no complaints.
3 weeks out and doing good I was referred by an ENT who said my case was complex and that he did not want to "fix" me. I broke my nose 9 months ago and was trying to live with it. I had 100% total blockage of my nostrils when I slept and it was really annoying. He told me that Dr. Hobgood was the best of the best in Phoenix for what I needed done. I had a septoplasty/rhinoplasty 3 weeks ago. I was so nervous. Dr Hobgood's office made me feel so at ease and then when I met the Dr I felt even better. Friendly, great bedside manner and he was quite confident he would be able to correct it and that I'd have a good result. He did confirm what the other specialist said, I had really messed the inside of my nose up when I broke it. I continue to heal. Everyday I am doing better and better. I know if I need to talk to the Dr or his staff they will most definitely take care of any issues I may have. Thank you!

it's been almost 5 months after my rhinoplasty and I couldn't be more in love with my nose. Growing up I've always been insecure of it. In an effort to try and mask my nose's flaws I would contour it, edit pictures or try to divert attention from it. Unfortunately, this never solved my problem so I knew I had to do something about it.
Fast forward to last March at my consultation with Dr. Hobgood. I love that he knew exactly what I wanted before I even explained. He was straightforward, honest and caring. Immediately I could tell he was an expert in what he does just by conversing with him.
Before the actual procedure I was extremely nervous ( it's your face you know?) As soon as Dr. Hobgood came in to check on me, I broke down. He made me feel so comfortable and eased my mind. The procedure itself went by fast. The recovery wasn't painful, it was just annoying (breathing out of your mouth, sleeping face up).
I had my rhinoplasty in May and I can honestly say that it was the best decision I've ever made. It usually takes a year for a rhinoplasty to fully heal so I'm very excited to see what it will look like then. My nose finally compliments my face. If you want NATURAL results I highly recommend Dr. Hobgood. He won't give you the standard Instagram nose, he works with your features in order to give you the nose that you were meant to have. Thank you Dr. Hobgood, I've never felt more confident about myself than I do now.

LIFE CHANGING!!!
I have been insecure about my nose for 10+ years, it was affecting my mental health so I finally decided to do something about it. I started doing research on plastic surgeons in the Scottsdale area, I saw Dr. Hobgood had really great reviews and specialized in facial plastic surgery so, I booked a consult with him. When I arrived, I was impressed with his beautiful, modern office and how well I was treated by his staff. They were so warm and welcoming! I met with Dr. Hobgood and immediately felt comfortable with him. He is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and, he is a genuine person. I knew right away I wanted him to do my Rhinoplasty. We came up with a plan that we both agreed on to improve my nose, something NATURAL looking that would still look like me. My surgery went smoothly, I recovered in less than 9 days and when I got my cast off and saw my nose for the first time I started crying tears of joy. I couldn't believe he exceeded my expectations and my new nose is better than I could have ever imagined! My breathing is exactly how it was before surgery, I didn't experience any pain and I don't even feel like I just had surgery 3 weeks ago! I am so glad I paid more to have the absolute best! I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I if I had to, I would do it again!

After an accident causing a lot of damage to my nose and septum, Dr. Hobgood was recommended by my dentist, another highly competent medical professional. After consulting with Dr. Hobgood, I decided he was the right person to help repair the damage to my nasal cavity. What a great decision! He was skillfully able to bring my breathing back to good again (I am still healing but can tell that after the soreness and swelling goes away, I will be good as new). I also felt very confident that I was in extremely good hands. His staff is also pretty wonderful — helpful, polite, and efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Hobgood for your facial plastic surgery needs.
The changes that I wanted were so minimal, and it was important that I found a doctor who understood that and could accomplish that for me. Dr. Hobgood was so understanding of what I wanted. He worked with me to come up with a game plan that him and I BOTH agreed on. He is such a lovely person, and his staff was beyond accommodating to me. Dr. Hobgood has changed my life! I had always contemplated getting a nose job since I was in 7th grade and I knew the minute I met Dr. Hobgood that he would be the one to do it. Dr. Hobgood is double-board certified, caring, a true artist, and only works on the neck and up. I also highly recommend seeing Annie for your Botox, fillers, and skin care needs. I've had multiple sessions with her for Botox, microneedling, and lip fillers and I won't trust anyone else! I've had a terrible experience with fillers done by another provider in the area and Annie is the only person I trusted to do my fillers with completely natural results! I highly recommend going to see her as she makes you feel like you've known her for years, is fun, and extremely talented (she was trained extensively by Dr. Hobgood!) You won't regret anything done when walking through these doors!

Doctors like this are Rare today. I was so overwhelmed with a decision I made elsewhere, before I knew better. I found Dr Hobgood through realself.com. I had a very unfortunate experience elsewhere and my previous Dr was of no help in explaining why I was having the symptoms I was. I sought out the expertise of Dr Hobgood and he was very thorough in explaining to me what I was dealing with and how we could proceed should I choose that route. I certainly wont go anywhere else in the future!!

I recently had an upper blepharoplasty done by Dr. Hobgood, and I cannot say enough good things about him and his entire staff. It was such a pleasant and easy experience from start to finish. I took a long time to reflect and research going through cosmetic surgery. Dr Hobgood and his staff are very professional and efficient. My worries, questions, and ideas were always welcomed and addressed. Dr Hobgood was very passionate, personable and honest throughout the whole process. I am pleased with how things turned out.
Dr. Hobgood is a master surgeon but his most endearing quality is his personality and bedside manner. From the initial consultation he made me feel so comfortable and cared for. He answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. I was very nervous about having facial surgery and Dr. Hobgood was understanding and patient with me. It has been six months since my facelift, eyelid surgery and brow lift. Not once have I regretted my decision. I did not want to look "worked on." Dr.Hobgood is the nicest, most caring surgeon i have ever met… and I have had lots of broken bones/tonsil surgeries and he wad by far the best all around. I had a revision rhinoplasty with Hobgood because my first closed nose surgery (soley for breathing) and it healed incorrectly. The surgery was so relaxing and easy going. BTW…. I LOVE MY RESULTS!!! Exactly what I was hoping for only 3 months later🩷 He did amazing. Healing process can be annoying but Hobgood and his staff are amazing at reaching out to check in and picking up calls. 100% recommend This Facial plastic Surgery Spot in Scottsdale. I traveled by plane and stayed a week and flew back - super easy and discussed during consultation!
I felt terrible about my appearance for about 5 years after developing rhinophyma. I was told by more than one dermatologist that nothing could be done. Worse, I was told that if someone did say they could help, not to believe it. By luck I discovered Dr. Hobgood’s practice online and with great trepidation gave them a call. I feared he would say he couldn’t help me. I also feared he would say he could because of the warnings given by other medical professionals. To conclude my story, I met with Dr. Hobgood and took a chance. I have nothing but good to say about my experience from the initial call to my surgery to my recent follow up appointment. I was treated with kindness and skill by every single member of the team. I’m still healing but it is already obvious that the procedure was successful. I am truly full of gratitude for the care I was given. I truly don't know any other way to explain my surgical experience other than I believe Dr. Hobgood is a truly gifted surgeon. From my first phone call which came after hours on a holiday, Dr. Hobgood called me right back personally to tell me a member of his staff would get back to me for a consult time at the start of their next business day. I waited a year from my first consult to surgery and knew with complete certainty that he would be the Doctor to do my low face and neck lift (with C02 and upper bleph revision). His thorough explanations, patience and "uncomplicated" way of detailing how I would feel, what I would experience and what I could hope for in an outcome were not only accurate but given in a way that helped lessen my anxiety over my upcoming procedures. I am 10 weeks post operative as I write this and am hearing comments of "you look great... what are you doing" by people I haven't seen in a while. One of my biggest fears was not "looking like myself" after surgery.... and I can wholeheartedly say... I look like the person I feel like on the inside! My self confidence is stronger and if asked if I would do it again, my answer is 1 million percent! But... only with Dr. Hobgood!

I highly recommend Dr. Hobgood as a doctor for your needs regarding facial plastic surgery. My skin cancer doctor suggested that [Dr. Hobgood] may be able to perform a deep skin peel or laser to improve my appearance and help prevent recurrences of future skin cancers.
Dr. Hobgood is a rare type of doctor. He really takes an interest in his patients. He has made several calls to my home to personally check on me; most of these calls were made on his own time either in the evenings or on the weekend. He tries to adjust his schedule to make it easier to see the people who need to see him. If you are looking for a skilled and caring doctor, look no further. Dr. Todd is number one! I just wish he were still in Columbus.
You are such an amazing doctor, and really treated us as not just patients, but you really got to know us on an individual level. We are both doing very well, and Rachel’s nose is gorgeous. She absolutely loves it!
