29 Year Old Who Never Felt Comfortable with Her Nose - Scottsdale, AZ I did a lot of research before choosing Dr. Hobgood as my facial plastic surgeon. I was a little nervous going into the consultation but as soon as I met Dr. Hobgood I knew I wanted him to be my doctor. He is very kind, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. He spent a lot of time with me and answered all of my questions. He even provided me with information on things I would have never thought to have asked. I was very nervous the day of surgery but he, again, made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Hobgood called me the night of surgery and the following day to see how I was healing. He continued to ensure I was doing okay throughout the course of my recovery. My recovery was very easy and smooth. I feel like this was the nose I was always meant to have. I can't express how much more comfortable I am in my own skin. The only regret I have is not having found Dr. Hobgood 10 years earlier! It's been over 9 months since my surgery and I am beyond happy! Boost In Confidence - Scottsdale, AZ At first I was a bit skeptical to have surgery on my face but one month out I am very happy with the result, although I still have a lot more healing to go. It was not as painful as I had expected but it did hurt quite a bit! When I got the cast off I freaked out because my nose was so swollen, but realized the swelling would go down, and it did!

Side Lump Growing on Wide Nose - Scottsdale, AZ I needed a rhinoplasty after discovering I had a deviated septum and my nose was going to the right with a lump. It was rapidly growing. I had 3 consultations before deciding to go with Dr Hobgood. My nose is healing very well I am very happy and satisfied with the results I would do it all over again if I had to this is the best investment ever. And yes an investment in myself definitely well worth it. I lost all my before and after pictures so as soon as I get my finals from dr. Hobgood I will upload them onto the website.
Revision Rhinoplasty - Scottsdale, AZ After a botched rhinoplasty 5 years prior, and extensive research I finally decided to move forward with my revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Hobgood. He came highly recommended to me by several people in the aesthetics industry, and after meeting him I could see why. He takes the time to explain even the smallest details, sets realistic expectations, and really makes you feel that he genuinely cares about you. He gave me his cell number in case of any questions, and personally called me the evening of surgery to check on me. Aside from that, my results are perfect, and even better than I had hoped for. My nose fits my other facial features and is just perfect, even at just over a month out of surgery. I know it will continue to get even better as residual swelling goes down. I am so thankful for Dr. Hobgood, and would recommend anyone see him if considering facial plastic surgery.
58 Year-old Woman, Mama + Wife - Scottsdale, AZ Having my eyes "done" was the BEST thing I could have done! I was getting to the age where eye creams and injectables were no longer my best option. I felt like I always looked tired and that my sagging eyelid skin was adding age to my face- and I was right! This minimally invasive procedure required about 2 weeks recovery time, but was not painful or uncomfortable in the least. No one knows what I had done, but they consistently compliment my "well-rested" appearance. I love the way I look, and it has dramatically improved my self-confidence. I used to wear glasses everyday to conceal my lines, but I have started wearing contacts for the first time in my life! I would absolutely recommend this procedure to anyone that is considering it.
Restylane Filler for Tear Trough and Lips - Scottsdale, AZ I went to Dr. Hobgood because I wanted to get filler injected into my hollowed under eyes to minimize my dark circles and shadows and have my lips done. I've had lip injections once before by a different plastic surgeon using juvederm but never have had my eye area done. Since the eyes are a tricky area if not done properly (tear trough), I only wanted to see a FACIAL plastic surgeon to do this. After reading the reviews on RealSelf, I decided Dr. Hobgood would be my best choice. I am so happy I chose him. I arrived an hour early and his assistant applied numbing cream. No dental block was used, just numbing cream. He used Restylane (which also contains a numbing agent, xylocaine) for both my eyes and lips. He was VERY gentle. He took his time as I had explained to him that my previous injectable experience was quite traumatic. He explained the entire process before he started and even during. He made sure I was as comfortable as I could be during the injections. I assumed the eyes would be very painful to have done, but it was a breeze. They did not bruise and I am so happy with how they look. I no longer look so tired everyday. The skin is smooth and I no longer need to apply under eye concealer. My lips look amazing as well. They have just been slightly filled to get rid of any lines and to smooth and plump them up slightly. Very subtle enlargement to maintain a youthful appearance and so that my lipstick and gloss do not build up in any lines. I had no bruising or swelling under my eyes. The only thing you could see under my eyes were tiny red dots where the needle was inserted but was easily covered up with foundation. The red dots went away after 72 hours. My lips did not bruise at all! They were very swollen and tender for 48 hours just as Dr. Hobgood said . But after the 3rd day, I woke up to lips that were not swollen, just the perfect size I requested. My previous lip injection was 2 years ago and I went to a different board certified surgeon. Those results were very good but the surgeon used numbing cream AND dental blocks and I still felt the needle going through my lips which he had weaved through my entire upper lip and then dispersed the filler while he slowly pulled the needle out. I was very happy with the results, however it was a very rough and painful injection even with the numbing cream and dental block. My lips were very bruised for about a week. Dr. Hobgood's injection method for my lips was much more bearable and not scary at all. He is very gentle, no bruising at all and the results are natural looking. I no longer need to be scared to get my injectables knowing I'm in Dr. Hobgoods hands. I still look like me and the fillers are not obvious, just a refreshed version of myself.
19 Year Old Rhinoplasty Cosmetic and Deviated Septum - Scottsdale, AZ For the last couple years I have been unhappy with my nose but never thought my parents would let me do anything to it. I thought something had to be wrong with it as it had a bump on the side. I decided to ask my doctor what she thought and she referred me to an ear nose and throat doctor and to get scans of my nose. I met with the ear nose and throat doctor who told me he wouldn't be able to fix my nose fully with my deviated septum and collapsing nose. I finally figured out I did have something wrong! My parents finally eased up. The ear nose and throat doctor referred me to Dr. Hobgood. I asked around about him and had heard nothing but amazing things. I made a consultation with him and my mom and I went. He told me all he could do for me and I was sold! He was so friendly and warm. After the appointment my mom called insurance and we set up a surgery date! It all happened so quickly. I am now out of my cast and extremely happy with my results. I have posted pictures of before, during, and after surgery. It is still swollen-which should ease up in the next couple weeks.

it's been almost 5 months after my rhinoplasty and I couldn't be more in love with my nose. Growing up I've always been insecure of it. In an effort to try and mask my nose's flaws I would contour it, edit pictures or try to divert attention from it. Unfortunately, this never solved my problem so I knew I had to do something about it.
Fast forward to last March at my consultation with Dr. Hobgood. I love that he knew exactly what I wanted before I even explained. He was straightforward, honest and caring. Immediately I could tell he was an expert in what he does just by conversing with him.
Before the actual procedure I was extremely nervous ( it's your face you know?) As soon as Dr. Hobgood came in to check on me, I broke down. He made me feel so comfortable and eased my mind. The procedure itself went by fast. The recovery wasn't painful, it was just annoying (breathing out of your mouth, sleeping face up).
I had my rhinoplasty in May and I can honestly say that it was the best decision I've ever made. It usually takes a year for a rhinoplasty to fully heal so I'm very excited to see what it will look like then. My nose finally compliments my face. If you want NATURAL results I highly recommend Dr. Hobgood. He won't give you the standard Instagram nose, he works with your features in order to give you the nose that you were meant to have. Thank you Dr. Hobgood, I've never felt more confident about myself than I do now.

I was referred to Dr. Hobgood by my niece and after seeing her eyelid surgery, I knew he was the surgeon for me. I have been insecure about my nose for 10+ years, it was affecting my mental health so I finally decided to do something about it. I started doing research on plastic surgeons in the Scottsdale area, I saw Dr. Hobgood had really great reviews and specialized in facial plastic surgery so, I booked a consult with him. When I arrived, I was impressed with his beautiful, modern office and how well I was treated by his staff. They were so warm and welcoming! I met with Dr. Hobgood and immediately felt comfortable with him. He is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and, he is a genuine person. I knew right away I wanted him to do my Rhinoplasty. We came up with a plan that we both agreed on to improve my nose, something NATURAL looking that would still look like me. My surgery went smoothly, I recovered in less than 9 days and when I got my cast off and saw my nose for the first time I started crying tears of joy. I couldn't believe he exceeded my expectations and my new nose is better than I could have ever imagined! My breathing is exactly how it was before surgery, I didn't experience any pain and I don't even feel like I just had surgery 3 weeks ago! I am so glad I paid more to have the absolute best! I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I if I had to, I would do it again!

After an accident causing a lot of damage to my nose and septum, Dr. Hobgood was recommended by my dentist, another highly competent medical professional. After consulting with Dr. Hobgood, I decided he was the right person to help repair the damage to my nasal cavity. What a great decision! He was skillfully able to bring my breathing back to good again (I am still healing but can tell that after the soreness and swelling goes away, I will be good as new). I also felt very confident that I was in extremely good hands. His staff is also pretty wonderful — helpful, polite, and efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Hobgood for your facial plastic surgery needs.
The changes that I wanted were so minimal, and it was important that I found a doctor who understood that and could accomplish that for me. Dr. Hobgood was so understanding of what I wanted. He worked with me to come up with a game plan that him and I BOTH agreed on. He is such a lovely person, and his staff was beyond accommodating to me. Dr. Hobgood has changed my life! I had always contemplated getting a nose job since I was in 7th grade and I knew the minute I met Dr. Hobgood that he would be the one to do it. I also highly recommend seeing Annie for your Botox, fillers, and skin care needs. I've had multiple sessions with her for Botox, microneedling, and lip fillers and I won't trust anyone else! I've had a terrible experience with fillers done by another provider in the area and Annie is the only person I trusted to do my fillers with completely natural results! I highly recommend going to see her as she makes you feel like you've known her for years, is fun, and extremely talented (she was trained extensively by Dr. Hobgood!) You won't regret anything done when walking through these doors!

Doctors like this are Rare today. I was so overwhelmed with a decision I made elsewhere, before I knew better. I found Dr Hobgood through realself.com. I had a very unfortunate experience elsewhere and my previous Dr was of no help in explaining why I was having the symptoms I was. I sought out the expertise of Dr Hobgood and he was very thorough in explaining to me what I was dealing with and how we could proceed should I choose that route. I certainly wont go anywhere else in the future!!

My experience with Dr. Hobgood far exceeded my expectations. He is a phenomenal surgeon that encompasses excellent bedside manner, one of a kind skills, and provides realistic expectations. This mix of traits can be extremely difficult to obtain. Throughout my surgical experience, he always took the time to explain and educate. Dr. Hobgood and his staff are the best at what they do - and you can tell that from the moment you walk in the door. Beautiful facilities and the office staff are always friendly and willing to answer your questions, and I can't forget about the nurses, anesthesiologist, and staff at the surgical center - all top notch. I saw Dr. Hobgood for a revision rhinoplasty after an unfortunate accident as a child and two previous surgeries that left me with less than desirable results. He really took the time to get to know me and ensure that I was a good candidate for the surgery, given my medical and personal history. He is so genuine and really takes his time with each and every one of his patients. I have a medical background myself, and he spoke to me so respectfully and on a level he knew I would understand - which does not always happen. He was upfront and honest about what was possible and explained everything in detail. He even called me on the weekend to discuss my surgical plan after reviewing previous surgical notes and called me the night before surgery to ensure I was doing well and help calm any concerns. Not to mention the results! I had a very complex history, so my expectations were not set super high as I was unsure of how much Dr. Hobgood would be able to do. He exceeded all expectations and I am SO happy with my results! He is truly the best and I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat! I can't thank them all enough for all they have done. Many thanks to Dr. Hobgood and his team for their care, kindness and support. It's been just over two months since undergoing rhinoplasty surgery. I was extremely anxious leading up to the surgery, but my fears were completely unwarranted. That's because of Dr. Hobgood's exceptional knowledge and skill. He exceeded my expectations, which I kept realistic. My primary aesthetic concerns were addressed, I've noticed a significant improvement in my ability to breathe, and my nose is now structurally sound. I recently underwent a deep plane face lift with Dr. Hobgood and I cannot say enough good things about him and his excellent staff. Dr. Hobgood is a rare type of doctor. He really takes an interest in his patients. He has made several calls to my home to personally check on me; most of these calls were made on his own time either in the evenings or on the weekend. He tries to adjust his schedule to make it easier to see the people who need to see him. If you are looking for a skilled and caring doctor, look no further. Dr. Todd is number one! I just wish he were still in Columbus.
